Our performance Rejoice pt. 1 || blogmas post #8

Hey guys!! I’m back!

Today I’ll be sharing how our performance Rejoice went! This story will be coming in parts, so this is part 1.

Saturday was one of our last dress rehearsals, so we did costumes and full makeup. For that dress rehearsal, I was there from 10:15am to 2:40pm! Because I was an organizer, director, and choreographer, I had to be there the whole time to top run things, even if I wasn’t dancing for all of it!

On Sunday afternoon we got together with almost all of our level groups, to just get one more practice in, and really solidify the dances.

There was still a whole bunch of organization stuff that had to be done, like making sure we had the curtains and curtain stands for set up, printing out daily schedules and the order of the dances etc.! So much to do!!!

Christmas section:

Here is a list of the songs we used!

Is He Worthy? by Shane and Shane

Go tell it on the Mountain by For King and Country

Light of the World by Lauren Daigle

Christmas Offering by Casting Crowns

Joy to the World by Casting Crowns

Worship section:

Night has Passed by The Brilliance

Glory Unspeakable by Big Daddy Weave

Proof of your Love by For King and Country

Behold our God by Sovereign Grace Music

Brother by NEEDTOBREATHE

Bow song: He Shall Reign Forevermore by Chris Tomlin

And there you have it! Part 1 in the story of how our Christmas performance Rejoice went, as well as the song list!!

Let me know what you guys think of the songs in the comments!

(Guys, there’s a week until Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh!!!)

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4
