Hello guys! Today I’ll be finishing up on telling you all about the Christmas performance I danced in and helped organize! If you haven’t seen the part 1 to this post, click here!

Once Monday came, my adrenaline was pumping from first thing in the morning! Me and a few other people had to be at the church we were performing at, at 10:30am, and there was so much to do before I could leave!
The biggest thing was school. Ballet had started Christmas break already so I didn’t have those classes, but school continues for one more week past that! I had a lot of assignments for Biology due the following morning at 8am, and I knew I couldn’t trust myself to get a whole ton of school done once I got home after the performance. Soooo I did the most logical thing, and got up at 4:40am to do all my school. The was a bit crazy…………. and I did regret it a little bit, but ya. Aaron my brother got up at 5:30 and helped me do my biology assignment, which was so nice of him!! Thank you Aaron!!!!
I got done with school at around 8am which was good seeing as I still needed to get ready and do my hair and makeup!
I did my base makeup (foundation mostly) and left to go pick up the programs for the performance, and then to the church!

(That’s what the programs looked like! Didn’t they turn out good?!)
After we got to the church we had to start setting up!
The main thing was the curtain stands for what we call the “wings”.

After that, we took a lunch break and did a warm up class on the stage!

Once that was done, we did a full dress rehearsal to make sure all the tech (music, lights etc.) were all working!
(I don’t have a photos from the dress rehearsal, as I was backstage or dancing the whole time lol 😜)
Then we had dinner, and guests started to arrive!!!! It was so fun seeing some of our ballet teachers, and friends!
The performance began at 6:40, and the thing I was most nervous for was the speech. It was right after we had just done the opening dance, and I was so out of breath!!!! But once that was done, it went really well! I love being able to focus on worshipping through my dancing!

The performance was over, and the ending speech was being said. Then a girl who we dance with came out onto the stage once more and asked all three of us (me and the two friends who helped put this on) to come out onto the stage! They thanked us for putting on this performance, and gave us all flowers!! I almost started crying, it was SO sweet 😭
The night was over and I headed home after tear down. (Taking down all the stuff we had set up)
When I got home it was 10pm and I still had school work to do! So I stayed up and finished that, and got to bed at 12:30am 😂
To sum it all up, it was a wonderful day and experience, and I was up for 20 hours straight 😆 I would love to do it all over again though. All of the girls who did it are so sweet and beautiful dancers, and I was so blessed to be able to do it with them!

And there’s how it all went down! If was such a learning experience and I loved every bit of it. I want to say thank you to Grace whom I put this on with, and the other young woman who did it with us! (I’ll just call her J for privacy reasons 😉 )

Guys, how amazing is God?! There are so many things that He has given us, and a lot of the time we forget that all things come from Him. He is the reason we’re here, we have a purpose; He is why we’re alive and breathing!
Take some time today to thank Him and to bring an offering of Worship to Him. He is worthy of everything we are.
I dance to worship my Lord and Savior; to praise Him for all He has done for you and me! I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to use the medium of dance as a way to worship.
Even if you don’t dance, don’t prefer to sing, you can still find a way you can truly worship the creator of the universe through! We all the gifts that God has given us, and we are meant to use those things to His glory! I encourage all of you to find that thing that you can do and really surrender and have a heart of worship in! It does something to your heart and spirit when you can spend time in worship and prayer, and it is so very important!
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
Psalms 63:3-4 NKJV

This looks so cool!! I’m so glad all your hard work payed off. It always brings a smile to my face when other dancers use their talents to glorify and worship God!!
Love all the pictures and I truly wish I could’ve been there to see it!

Thank you, Liz! I also love hearing about other Christian dancers and how they use the gifts God has given them, to glorify Him!
I would have loved for you to see this performance!! One of our goals in making it was to encourage others in Christ through the medium of dance and to worship!!
