Hey guys!
Today I’ll be updating you on why I’ve been so busy this Christmas Season!
As y’all probably know, nutcracker is something that happens every year, and is a common Christmas tradition for a lot of people!

My local Nutcracker that a company puts on every year had decided to do masks full time, as well as do a virtual performance! While I’m so happy and excited for everyone who decided to do it, I personally didn’t want to do it this year for those reasons along with some others. I still LOVE the nutcracker and hope to dance in it again, but this year it just didn’t work out.

So why have I been so busy, since I’m not doing nutcracker?!
Well, last year me and some friends actually put on and choreographed our own nutcracker, as there wasn’t one being performed last year. It was a lot of work, but so rewarding and so much fun!
This year, me and 2 other girls from my studio wanted to put on a Christ centered Christmas performance. My studio is a Christian ballet studio, and we believe that Christmas is to celebrate the One who humbled Himself and came down to live on this earth, and was born; He was a little baby. But He would one day grow up and die one the cross for my sin, and for yours.
This is why I celebrate Christmas; to give Glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Anyways, so, me and a couple other girls are organizing and choreographing a Christmas performance called Rejoice! This is why I’ve been so insanely busy!! With all the organizing, directing and choreographing that I’ve been taking a part of, it’s been pretty hectic! I am so excited to be putting this together though, and I hope it’s a blessing to those who come to watch it!
The performance is on Monday, and I can’t wait to take some pictures and do a post on how it went!

Don’t forget the reason that we Celebrate Christmas. It’s easy to, when we get caught up in all of the festivities, the giving, and gifts.
But non of that really matters. It’s all earthly and will pass away. But our Lord and Savior is the reason we’re here and breathing!! It’s a time to celebrate and thank Him for all He has done for us!!
So don’t lose sight of the as we are getting ready for Christmas!
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21
Do you usually go see the nutcracker every year? What’s your favorite part? Or do you go watch some other show? Let me know in the comments!

That sounds like such a neat performance that you’ll be doing🩰!

It’s so cool that you’re putting on a Christmas ballet! My ballet studio did (I think they still do but I don’t dance anymore) a Christ-centered Christmas ballet called The Gift. What kind of music are you using? I’d love to see your pictures!

That’s awesome!
We’re using a combination of Christmas songs and worship songs! I’ll include all the songs in an upcoming post 😉
