Hey guys! Today’s post is kind of a life update. As this school year is starting, my blogging schedule will be changing a little bit, so I’ll be talking about that as well!

I can’t believe the summer is over already! Although I’m sad, I’m also happy to be back in school, doing something productive with my life.
Ballet started this last week, and that was a whirlwind. Seeing everyone who I was in class with last year, seeing old classmates who didn’t take last year etc. Lots of mixed feelings and emotions. It’s also really weird to have 2 of my older classmates from last year actually teaching my classes this year 😅 It’s sad that they aren’t actually dancing themselves this year, but it’s totally understandable as one of them is Married and the other has full time Collage!
One exciting new thing I’m adding to my ballet schedule this year, is actually teaching! I was a Teacher Assistant (aka a TA lol) for 4 years. I love sharing my love for dance and the Lord with other girls who share the same passion! So anyways I’m teaching my own class starting in January, and I am so excited!! It is a class with girls ages 7-8, and they are all so sweet. 🥰
School wise this year, I’m doing Biology, Spanish, and a little bit of that French I was trying to complete in the summer hahah. I’ll have quite a large school load this year, but I know I’ll make it through! (If any of you have school / study or time management tips, please let me know down in the comments!!!)
As for blogging… this is where I’m unsure what the schedule will be like, at least for now. My “free day” is no longer Thursday; in fact I don’t think I even have one this year! But my free-er day/days are going to be Tuesdays and Saturday’s. So these are most likely the days I’ll be posting, but as I said I’m not entirely sure! This is the first time I’m starting the school year with a blog, so please have patience with me while I figure it all out haha.
Long story short, I will hopefully still be posting every 1-2 weeks! But if that doesn’t happen, just have grace with me. 😉
I encourage all of you to be praying for all the students who are all in school (public, private, or homeschooled, like me)! This year has still been rather hectic with covid, masks, the vaccine etc. and there can just be so much stress and anxiety for students right now.

For all you students out there reading this, I want to share a word of encouragement:
As this school year begins, it probably seems like there are so many different things that have to get done, and no time to do it. You may feel like you even have to cut out your hang out time with friends, in order to try and get all your school, assignments, and homework done. I’m right there with you. We all feel overwhelmed at different points in our lives. Those things come and go with the seasons of life; as things change.
But know that the Lord wants our eyes on the things that can never change; the things that are continually constant. Those things are not of this world, and therefore our focus should not be on the things in the world!
The world can and will change. The people around you, the people you know, will all change. You will change. But He will never change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. For all eternity. You need to put your trust in HIM for He is an everlasting rock, and that is why He should be the foundation of your life and of everything that you do!
Just like He will never change, His love for you also will never change. He is faithful to us, even when we are continually unfaithful to Him. We reject Him, forget Him, and abandon Him, for we are imperfect beings. But HE welcomes us, remembers us, and never leaves us behind, for He is a perfect God.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
Have a wonderful week guys! ❤

Okay, first of all, congrats for all you’ve got going on with ballet! Even so, you’ll be crazy busy – I hope you have a fantastic school year too, and manage to keep the stress down and the productivity and the fun turned on HIGH! XD
I also LOVED your thoughts at the end of this post – such gems! I screenshotted it for future reminders – thank you so much for sharing truth in that way, it was so encouraging! I need to remember to keep my eyes on what is not of this world, even while i interact with things OF this world.
A million blessings to you, Amber! May God bless you!

I’m so glad that my words were an encouragement. I want to share things that are uplifting and encouraging through Christ’s example!!

I’ve been pretty well! Getting all my school organized, preparing for extracurriculars, and some good hard work! I’m finding that the things I put off, thinking they’d be too hard or boring, are ending up actually getting done; and being rather interesting while I do them, thank God! (I just love seeing check marks on my “to do” lists, don’t you?) 😅
I’ve also been rejoicing in God’s blessings – just realizing how much I’ve been given, and I want to be worthy of the responsibility that comes with blessing. 😊
Thanks for asking!

Oh in so glad that the things you could be putting off but are doing, are engaging!
Yes, learning to manage the responsibilities that come with God’s many blessings, is so good and needed!
