Hello there everyone!! Thank you so much Amber for having me on here! It means a lot. Go give Amber’s blog a follow, because her and her posts are amazing!!

My name is Liz and I blog over on Above the Clouds. I’m also the owner of the Etsy shop Abovebyliz. The most important thing about me is, I am a Christian!! I also love to read, write, listen to music, and fangirl over lots of things.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite things, music, music artist, quotes, and a Bible verse!

Songs:

Never Enough by Loren Allred 

Despite the meaning behind the song, which isn’t good. This song is just 👌🏻 When I’m singing (if you can call it singing *cough*) I’m usually thinking about God, how everything we have, fame, money, anything at all, will never be enough. But Jesus is our fulfillment, He is where we are content. He is the only one that will ever be enough. Besides, that song is just beautiful.

Without You by For King and Country 

This song is about how Luke was really really sick. (as in he was going to die) And his wife, Courtney, was scared he would die. Luke has recovered, but they wrote and sang this song and it’s just amazing. 

Reign by Tommee Profitt 

I love this song for three reasons. 

1. It reminds me of a scene from the novel I am writing 
2. It makes me think of a lot of fantasy books 
3. It’s just arggggg, lovely 

This My Soul by The Gray Havens

This literally sums up the Bible so well. Ah! I absolutely love how the song starts off kind of hopeless and depressing, but once Jesus gets in the picture boom, hope, joy, peace. 

An honorable mention to All God’s Children by Tauren Wells.

Tommee Proffitt

He usually takes non Christian songs and makes them EPIC. He plays/writes the music and other people sing. His Christmas album is lovely.

AH MY FAVORITE PEOPLE. Their songs have so much depth and story and scripture in them. They are just magnificent.

My favorite Bible verse:

I live by the words “I believe: help my unbelief.” They are so powerful.
