Random Ramblings #2

Hello guys! So before I get into my actual random ramblings, I wanted to let you all know something.

I want this blog to be glorifying to Christ, and want you all to get a glimpse of Him, through my writing. I always want to be writing more posts that pertain to my faith, Christianity, and the infinite love that the Lord has for each and every one of us.

And because I want to do that, I can find myself trying to just come up with it all on my own; pressuring myself to write about it. But I’m learning why that never works!

I’ve learned that I can’t rush something that I’m not even in complete control of. My Random Ramblings posts are really just what the Lord brings to my mind. This usually only happens at night, when I’m staring up at the night sky in my bed, while listening to soft worship music. That’s when I get all my inspiration for these posts! And that inspiration comes and goes.

So if these posts aren’t something that I do on a regular basis, that’s why. I want my inspiration to come from the Lord, and want Him to just use my words and writing to reach peoples hearts.

God cares for us more than we could ever know or imagine. He’s the one who gave us life, gives us our every breath. He’s the one who gives us a purpose, and shows us what that purpose is, when we’re ready. Sometimes it feels like he’s not there, or doesn’t really care about our life and what we’re going through. But He is there, and does understand!

He’s there when we feel like we need Him, and even when we feel like we don’t. Because the fact is, we are nothing without Him. We wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for Him and His infinite love for us!

Without Him, life has no meaning, no purpose, no ultimate goal. Without Jesus we are lost, and there is no way we can be found without Him. Nothing we could ever do would make us worthy of His marvelous mercy, love, and dedication.

Through all the stress and busyness of life, oftentimes we forget how important our relationship with Him is. We don’t take time to pray and chat with Him, we don’t regularly read our Bible etc.

And even more frequently, we sometimes just praise Him when things are goin good, when we got a good grade in school, passed the test, got a job, got a raise.

But He is faithful even when our circumstances aren’t the best. He still has a plan for us, and whatever we’re going through, is a part of it. We need to remember that God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.

When we’re going through something hard, that seems like is never going to end, we tend to lose sight of His good works. And when we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, it seems like it’s never going to appear. But once we get through that season of our life, and make it to the other side, we can begin to see how much we grew through that time; how much He used that situation, to grow and mature us! He uses the rough seasons in life to show us that we can’t do it on our own. It’s impossible. We have to rely on Him to get us through. For not by our own might and strength do we get through life, but by His strength and power; His might and mercy.

The whole point of this post is to say that THE LORD HAS A PLAN. AND NOTHING THAT HAPPENS, GOOD OR BAD, WILL STOP HIM FROM COMPLETING THAT PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.

I just felt like I needed to share those thoughts, because we all should be reminded of how good He is, even in the hard times of life.

I’m putting a few of my favorite songs sort of related to this post, down below! Go check them out and give them a listen. This first one really hit me as I wrote this post, so I put the lyrics down below as well. 🙂

Nothing Without You by Bebo Norman

Take these hands
And lift them up
For I have not the strength to praise You near enough
See, I have nothing
I have nothing without You

And take my voice and pour it out
Let it sing the songs of mercy I have found
For I have nothing
I have nothing without You

And all my soul needs is all Your love
To cover me, so all the world will see
That I have nothing without You

Take my body and build it up
May it be broken as an offering of love
For I have nothing
I have nothing without You

And all my soul needs is all Your love
To cover me so all the world will see
That I have nothing
That I love You, yeah
With all my heart
With all my soul
With all my mind
And all the strength I can find

Take my time here on this earth
And let it glorify all that You are worth
For I am nothing
I am nothing without You
