Hey guys!
First of all, I’m just gonna tell you right away that this post is gonna be really quick and short. I’ve had a lot of school stuff going on, and I have a test in class today, which means I MUST STUDY in order for me to do remotely well 😂 Just kidding, I’ll probably do fine, I just get overwhelmed with school stuff rather easily.
Anyways, I decided I’m gonna do an “I answer your questions about dance” post! But that means I need you all to ask me questions! I got this idea from Emmie when she did a “Reacting to your assumptions about dance” post! Make sure to go check out that post too!
You can ask me pretty much anything as long as it’s in regards to dance. Preferably keep your questions to ballet and contemporary/modern since that is basically all I have any experience in lol.
Whelp, I can’t wait to see all your questions!! Hop in the comments and get asking! (There is no limit to how many you can ask 😉)
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond you ability, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

What is your favorite style/color of leotard? What, in your opinion, is the worst style/color of leotard?

oooh i’m new to your blog and i stumbled upon this post, so i’ll ask you a few questions then: what’s your favourite part about dancing? did you ever forget the steps to a song while dancing, and if yes what did you do then?

Hey! I’m new to pointe, so I was wondering…
How do you deal with blisters? I just got my first ones.
How many days a week do you recommend doing pointe?
Bye!

Okay, kind of a weird question but do you end up with a lot of blisters?
If you do, then how do you treat and bandage them to where they heal without getting worse while still being able to dance?
And for a not so weird question, if you could have any role in the Nutcracker, which one would it be?

Yay I’m so excited you’re doing this idea! Thanks so much for linking to my post!
How many times do you dance a week?
What is your favorite role you’ve done?
What other styles have you tried other than ballet?

Thank you! I actually only got 1 problem wrong (2 points off), so I’m happy with that! I knew all of my stress about it probably wasn’t necessary lol

You’re one of those smart people who always freak out but pretty much ace everyone. 🤪

That may be partially true… But I do definitely struggle with both science and math. I just try to put importance on a good grade, and that has helped me be probably overprepared😅

I feel your pain. Math stinks! I’ve went over 2 decades now and still have yet to use X x Y = Z

I’m sure there’s a proper term for it… ballet is so elegant and graceful and I’m neither 😂

It would be called dancing en pointe. Or releve, which is used for ballet shoes or pointe shoes. 😉
