Happy Good Friday!

Hey guys! I just wanted to hop on and wish you all a happy, wonderful & meaningful Good Friday!

It is a day to really remember and recognize what sacrifice was made for you and me, on Calvary. Jesus Christ came to us in the flesh, lived among us, experiencing our daily life, living our joys, sorrows, and pains. We have pain and various sufferings in our lives, because of the choice that was made in the garden of Eden. Because of sin, we get to feel pain, suffering, sadness, etc.

Christ, who had not sinned once, was experiencing grueling pain, and eventually death. He was tempted just as we were tempted, and when He died on that cross, He was carrying the weight of all our sin on His shoulders. Christ did all of this, because He wanted you and me to be able to be with Him and His Father in Heaven.

So today, on this Good Friday, I urge you to really remember what price was paid for you!

Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above: THE KING OF THE JEWS. Mark 15:25-26

Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Mark 15:33-34 NKJV

Jesus knew that His mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture He said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it to His lips. When Jesus had tasted it, He said, “It is finished!” Then He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit. John 19:28-30 NLT

And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last breath. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He had cried out like this and breathed His last breath, he said “Truly this Man was the Son of God!” Mark 15:37-39 NKJV

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.

1 Peter 3:18 NKJV

That’s all for today! I won’t be posting on Easter Sunday, but I hope you all have a wonderful Resurrection Sunday, celebrating the day that Christ has risen from the grave, conquering death and sin!
